About Us
Our Story
Smile I.T. Group started in January of 2016 by Seth Cornell. From a young age, Seth always had the entrepreneurial spirit to start his own business. He worked for several different companies as an IT specialist through the years but spent a large amount of time working mostly with dental practices. During that time, Seth learned all about the dental technology and HIPAA compliance needed to help dental practices succeed. However, he often ran into situations where he was replacing equipment that did not need to be replaced. This was not acceptable to Seth but he was not in a position to do anything about it. The moral dilemma Seth faced previously is one of the reasons he started Smile I.T. Group.
The other main reason for starting Smile I.T. was to have the ability to support charities in a much bigger way. We are passionate about supporting charities that help the less fortunate. The only financial goal we make for our business every year is a giving goal. We strive to increase our giving every year so that more people can be helped. It truly is more blessed to give than to receive.
Seth
Seth has been working in the IT industry for over a decade with a majority of that time specializing in supporting dental practices. Seth enjoys getting to know all the people that he works with at offices and loves to explain technology in a simple to understand way.
Seth attended Alvernia University in Reading, Pa majoring in Computer Information Systems. He is married to his wife Bethany and they have 4 children that keep them busy. In his spare time, Seth loves to hang out with his family, play basketball, golf, and hunt.
Cody
Cody began his I.T. career with Smile I.T. Group in 2016 and has loved every minute of it! Cody especially enjoys the everyday interaction with all of the staff members and ensuring they are receiving top notch support. When he’s not providing everyday technical support, Cody specializes in doing Weave installations/trainings and getting down into crawl spaces to perform multiple wire runs for offices.
Cody was born and raised in southern Lancaster County. He lived in Philadelphia for several years completing his Bachelor’s degree and working for the Philadelphia Phillies. Cody currently lives back home just outside of Lancaster city. He enjoys archery hunting, being a Philly sports nut and going on hikes with his dogs.
Adam
For over a decade, Adam has been working in the IT industry and has spent the last five years specializing in dentistry. With his project management background and attention to detail, Adam excels in leading the installation team from start to finish on various onsite projects and new office installations.
Adam, a Michigan native attended Central Michigan University and graduated in 2010. Now living in Lancaster with his wife and two kids, Adam enjoys watching sports, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and dog Tucker!
Eric
Eric served in the United States Marine Corps from 2006-2011. He was a radio operator/ field wireman during his time of service and completed several deployments. After his time of service, Eric graduated from YTI with an Associate degree in Computer Systems Specialists. Since finishing school he has been working with Dental software for over 7 years.
In his spare time, Eric is an avid fly fisherman. He enjoys tying flies, teaching his love for fishing to others, and generally loves anything that is outdoors!
Manish
Manish started his IT career working as a Software Developer at Cornerstone for Recovery in 2018. That same year he started at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health as a PC Technician. He has always been interested in technology and decided to pursue it after graduating Warwick High School. Manish enjoys working with clients and making sure that their tech is the least of their worries throughout the day.
When he’s not working, he loves to spend time with his wife Noelle and their two dogs. He loves to watch sports, work on his car/motorcycle, and hunt.
